About
Most companies don’t need a bigger AI vision.
They need a first step that works.
How we work
Three things we believe...
Understanding must come before solutioning
You've heard "AI will solve that" plenty, usually from someone who never asked what "that" is. The context that is skip is exactly what defines your problem: your goals, your constraints, what you already do well.
We keep learning your business even after kickoff, because it's always moving. What's right at the start needs work to still be right at launch. Most stop listening the moment they start building.
Start with people, not tools
A problem is a goal your current setup can't reach. A new tool can help you get there while quietly bringing its own baggage: adoption, skill gaps, maintenance.
We start from a person and the job they're trying to do, and reach for a new tool only when what you have can't get there. It's the less exciting path, and the one far more likely to work.
The first win funds the next one
Budgets are real, and skepticism about new technology, or from a past project that disappointed, is earned.
The first piece of work should be scoped so that the outcome is measurable and visible enough that the person doing the job notices the difference. With something real to point at, your strategy earns internal credibility, and the budget, for continued work.
Who you'll work with

Eric Kraus
Founder & Principal
Twelve years at Microsoft and three at Google, spanning roles in sales, solution design, and architecture. During those years, I was deeply embedded with my clients, watching how large organizations actually decide to buy technology, how those decisions get funded, and why so many of them quietly fail afterward. Then four years at a boutique AI consulting firm, doing solution design and hands-on work, learning how differently AI behaves from the tools before it.
I am a builder. Engineering is embedded in everything I do, from go-to-market to back-office automation. I can usually tell you whether an idea is achievable on the systems you already have, worth a real experiment, or a six-month distraction dressed up as innovation.
Sorbaix is independent. This means, focus is on clients. There is no product to sell; no quota sitting behind the advice. "Your success is our success" isn't lip-service, it's survival.
Being small is intentional. There's no bench to hand you off to. The person who scopes your work is the person who owns the outcomes with you. When something needs more hands, we bring in trusted partners who think and work the same way we do.
